Our PhD student Dorota Tomaszewska is visiting the laboratories at Umeå University for a short-term research stay. The main purpose of the visit is to perform spectroscopic measurements at 8 micrometers using our compact mid-IR frequency comb.
Our compact mid-infrared frequency comb was shipped to our partners in Umeå on February 10th. It was successfully delivered and installed in the Optical Frequency Comb Laboratory. Dorota will now align the Fourier-Transform Spectrometer and combine it with our comb source. The main purpose of this experiment is to perform measurements of nitrous oxide at 7-8 μm wavelenth using the sub-nominal resolution technique.
