Our laser enables two-photon excited fluorescence imaging of biological samples

In cooperation with researchers from the Insititute of Physical Chemistry, we have demonstrated two-photon imaging of ex vivo rat skin and other samples using the femtosecond laser at 780 nm wavelength developed in our group.

We have shown that the tunable pulse repetition rate enables increase in the fluorescence signal and obtaining better images. Detaileds about the laser design and the experimental results are posted on arxiv:
